Easily Pass Data Between RA ControlLogix and Siemens S7 CPUs via Siemens Industrial Ethernet

This is a quick example of passing data (DINTs in this case) between Rockwell Automation ControlLogix CPUs and Siemens S7 CPUs via Siemens Industrial Ethernet.

All this is done without any modifications to the RSLogix 5000, or Step 7 project files. Communications between the two systems is completely handled and offloaded to the ProSoft Technology ILX56-MM Message Manager.
